Dyslexia Resources
As part of our effort to give all students the skills necessary to succeed in their educational careers, and in compliance with state statutes, our district utilizes a universal dyslexia screener for all students. Any student flagged on the initial screener will then complete a secondary, follow-up screening. Students who flag on the follow-up screening are then considered to have a concern for dyslexia. Universal screenings can indicate a concern; however, dyslexia is a diagnosis that can only be given through a referral to a specialist provided by a medical doctor.
