Bullying Reports

Bullying Education for Parents

At the Laclede Co. C-5 School District, we understand that bullying is a serious infraction and we take all instances of bullying seriously. To report an instance of bullying, use the form below.

Listed below are the appropriate steps for reporting a suspected bullying incident. Please allow adequate time for a complete investigation of the incident before proceeding to the next step.

  • The first step you should take is contacting the teacher via email or Infinite Campus. You can contact the office to request a call back, but please know that teachers will not return calls outside of plan time.
  • If you do not receive a satisfactory response from the teacher, you can make a report to the principal using this form. If no satisfactory response is received after this step, you can request a conference with the Superintendent by contacting Jean Domingue at jdomingue@jebk8.com or by calling 417-532-4837.

Please note, we legally are not allowed to give information about another student’s disciplinary action to a parent. All disciplinary action will be kept confidential to protect students and families.

If you have already reported the incident to your child’s teacher and have not received a satisfactory response, please use the form linked here to report this incident to the principals.

Missouri Trauma – Informed Schools Initiative

Senate Bill 638 required the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education to create a website about the trauma-informed schools initiative that includes information for schools and parents. Further, the law requires that each school provide the address of the website, created by DESE, to “all parents of the students in its district.” The address is:  http://motraumaschools.com
